Obituary of Bradley S. Bumgardner
Please share a memory of Bradley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bradley Scott Bumgardner died peacefully in his home and went to go be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 16, 2017. He was 34.
Born in Bristol, he was the son of Gregory R. Bumgardner and Theresa M. Bumgardner (Wood). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Marie Bumgardner, and grandmother Patricia M. Wood.
Bradley was a graduate of Pennsbury High School and Bucks County Community College and then went on to study at Delaware Valley University. He was employed at Bensalem School District prior to his illness.
A frequent visitor of the New Life Christian Church in Newtown, Bradley loved connecting with the church's community. He enjoyed helping in the church's kitchen when he could as it brought together two of his favorite things: food and fellowship.
Bradley enjoyed fishing on the Delaware, talking about tattoos, and spending time with his two beloved dogs—Maddie and Morgan.
In addition to his parents, Bradley is survived by his younger sister, Olivia Marie Bumgardner, and his grandfather, Loring Wood, who resides in Florida.
Bradley will be dearly missed and would like all who knew him to know "I am stronger and powerful when God is on my side. It's his love that puts the power in my hands".
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life at 10am Saturday New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Drive., Newtown, PA 18940, where friends may call from 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers and in his honor, please donate to The Humane Society of the United States or New Life Christian Church.
