Lorraine Cook Keating, age 76, of Yardley, Pennsylvania peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on October 31, 2017. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, John B. Keating. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Cook; sister of the late Marlene Bronsardi, Richard Cook (Patricia), and Gregory Cook (Karen). Loving mother to Dennis Keating ( Claire ),
Dr. Jeffrey Keating (Colette), and Michelle Keating Donan; cherished grandmother to Dennis Scott Keating (Lisa), Wesley Keating (Michele), Jared Keating, Michael Keating, Brielle Donan, Jack Donan, and Brian Keating; great grandmother to Dennis Scott Keating, III and Nora Keating.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1940, Lorraine attended Cathedral High School. She worked at New Jersey Manufacturers, and then spent the rest of her career at her family business Sylvester & Keating in Penndel, PA. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her winters in Bonita Springs, Florida. Lorraine enjoyed golfing at the Trenton Country Club, spending time at the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday November 3rd from 5pm to 8pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday November 4th at St. Andrew's Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA. Burial will be at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
