John D. Sweeney, III of Yardley, PA passed away on Thursday November 23, 2017 in his home.
Born in Akron, Ohio son of the late Janet and John D. Sweeney, Junior. He was a lifelong resident of the Yardley-Makefield area. John worked at Princeton University for the majority of his career and retired as the Director of Investments. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Husband of the late Beverly (Harris) he is survived by his two sons J. David Sweeney, IV and his wife Mary, who reside in Virginia Beach, VA, and Glenn A. Sweeney and his wife Jennifer, who reside in Morrisville, PA. He had four grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Lydia and Riley.
There will be no services.
