Klaus Lohse, a 29 year resident of Falls Township, PA died on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. He was 74.
Klaus was born in Germany, son of the late Wilhelm Lohse and Margarete Rahn, nee Moller, and step-brother of the late Gebhard Rahn and Volkmar Rahn
He is survived by his wife, Lois Lohse, nee Lussi; his four children, Kristie Lohse of Bristol, Jessica Lohse of Allentown, John Lohse of Whitehall, and Timothy Lohse and his wife Sharon of Fairless Hills; two grandchildren, Regan and Cooper; a sister, Wiebke Littler of Rodgau, Germany; a nephew, Marc Littler, and many cousins in Germany.
Klaus immigrated to the U.S. in 1969, where he was employed by Schoeffel Instruments in Westwood, NJ. Over the years, he worked for many different companies supporting the chemical and pharmaceutical industries with his expertise in HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). He retired from a position as Senior Applications Engineer for Avantor Performance Materials, Inc. in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Klaus was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Yardley, PA, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11am with visitation from 10:30am, and a luncheon to follow the service.
