Obituary of Thomas S. Harsha

Thomas S. Harsha of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Thursday January 11, 2018 at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia, PA. He was 56. Born in Akron, OH, and formerly of Okemos, MI, he resided in Lower Makefield for the past 20 years. Tom was graduated from Temple Unversity with a B.A. in business administration and pursued a Master's degree in education. He had a career in risk management before returning to education as a substitute school teacher. As a member of Woodside Presbyterian Church, he actively supported many church activities including Senior High Youth Group and participated in numerous mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He is survived by his wife, Lynne Adgate Harsha; his daughter, Ellen Marie Harsha; his parents, James L. and Diane Wellman Harsha of Okemos, MI; his brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Diane Harsha of Franklin, TN, their daughter Melanie and his sister, Rebecca McKee of Haslett, MI and her sons Kevin and Kyle. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 11am on January 27, 2018 at Woodside Presbyterian Church, 1665 Edgewood Road, Yardley, PA.
