Obituary of Sandra J. Sherwood

Sandra J. Sherwood of Fallsington, PA died on Friday May 18, 2018 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. She was 52. Born in Bristol, PA, daughter of Barbara Larsen Sherwood and the late Herbert F. Sherwood, she resided in Fallsington for the past 13 years and was formerly of Lower Makefield Township. A graduate of Pennsbury High School and the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Sandra began her career in interior design and later formed her own firm, Sherwood Interiors. She had a gift for all design elements and especially loved working with flowers. She was a member of St. Ignatius Parish in Yardley. She is survived by her mother, Barbara A. Sherwood; her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Debbie Sherwood of Harleysville, PA; two nephews, Julien Sherwood and Alex Sherwood and her goddaughter, Alissa Jo Manning. Sandy treasured her many good friends she made over the years. Especially loved were her extended family, "The Porch Club". Sandy's family will receive condolences from 9:30 until 11:00am followed by her service on the 26th of May at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940. Sandy loved flowers; they are welcomed at her service.
