Obituary of Dolores L. Kelty

Dolores Laetitia Irene Grote Kelty of Yardley, PA went to her eternal reward peacefully on Thursday November 8, 2018 at her home. On, 1 August 1921, she was born in Yonkers, NY, and was the last daughter of four siblings of the late William J. and Anna Egan Grote, she resided in Yardley for the past 50 years. Dolores met Robert her husband at Rosemont College and was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she specialized in early childhood education. A dedicated mother and spouse she dedicated her life in raising her family. She was a very dedicated member of the faith community of Saint Ignatius Church. Wife of the late Robert P. Kelty, Sr., she is survived by two sons, Robert P. Kelty Jr., and Rev. Fr. Edward J. Kelty, Emeritus Judicial Vicar and Judge of Rome, Italy; two daughters Mary Ann Conn of Langhorne, Pa and Dolores Ann Kelty of Yardley, Pa; son-in-Law Dennis Conn of Langhorne, daughter-in-Law Dominique Morrow, Newtown, Pa., three grandchildren and their spouses, Sean David and Kelli G. Kelty of Centennial, Co, Ryan Charles and Karen Kelty of Denver, Co, and Kimberly Ruth and Stephen Gorski of Easton, Pa; two great grandchildren, Harper Reese Kelty and Oliver Lennon Kelty; brother-in-law, Thomas Kelty and wife April of Valatie, NY, and sister-in-law, Eileen Harney of Trenton, NJ, and many nieces and nephews in the Trenton, NJ, New York, and Connecticut area. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 8:30am to 10:15am on Friday, November 16, at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated by her son, Rev. Fr. Edward Kelty, at 11am at St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery next to her late husband Robert Patrick Evans Kelty, Sr.
