Obituary of Catherine Howell McGoldrick

Catherine Howell McGoldrick of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. She was 66. Born in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of the late J. Headley and Catherine Beveridge Howell, Jr., she was a lifelong Yardley-Makefield resident. A graduate of Bishop Conwell High School and Bucks County Community College, Cathy was the office manager for Triumph Physical Therapy in Newtown, PA. Her varied interests included reading, visits to Long Beach Island and trips with her husband to his native Scotland. As a music lover, she enjoyed Tri-County Band Concerts and Outdoor Concerts at Falls Park. She is survived by her husband Thomas Ford "Scotty" McGoldrick; a step-son, Thomas S. McGoldrick; her sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Eric Peterson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph H. and Marcia Howell, III, David and Lee Howell, and Christopher and Kate Howell. Also survived by Vicki Manucci and her husband John, Bob, Alan and John Kliesh, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 9am to 10:15am Thursday December 27th at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am at Holy Trinity Church in Morrisville, PA. Burial will be at 9:30am Friday December 28th at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
