So sorry for the loss of my dear friend of almost 50 years. Flavia was one of a kind, so loving and caring; a Mom to everyone she knew. I love the picture you posted of her, it is how I always remember her: in her kitchen opening her home and her heart to all of our family with her charm, wit and wonderful cooking. She could never do enough for you, ready to tuck a jar of her homemade peach jelly in your purse as you left. Some of the best memories in my life are the times spent in Morrisville when Mike and Jim worked together at Squibb and we would spend Friday nights playing Bridge until Jim and Flavia would "get their hands in the dough" and make Pizza! We were probably one of the worst foursomes but I know we had the most fun. My deep condolences to the whole family, you will all miss her so much, but what a blessing to have had her in your life. Rest In Peace my sweet friend. I know Jim was waiting to give you a big hug!
