Michael P. Ditchkofsky of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at his home. He was 60 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late George and Dorothy Fox Ditchkofsky, he resided in Lower Makefield for the past 20 years. A graduate of LaSalle University, Michael received his Masters Degree from the University of Chicago. He began a career in education as a teacher at Holy Ghost Prep. Later, he became Editor and Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Peterson's Guide Publishing Company. Based on that experience, Michael founded the Yardley Research Group which consulted on higher education projects. Throughout his life, Michael was devoted to the teachings of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. He is survived by his twin brother, Leonard Ditchkofsky; his sister, Dottie Ditchkofsky, and by three nephews and a niece, Paul, Kevin, Ryan and Nicole. Friends and family are invited to call from 9am to 10:15am Friday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am at The Monastery of St. Clare, 1271 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA. Interment will be private. There was a special place in Michael's heart for the sisters of St. Clare. If you wish, donations in his name may be made to the Monastery of St. Clare, 1271 Newtown Langhorne Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
