Working for Exide Electronics

I worked with Bill Bennett, Bob Johnson, and many others in 1980 ~ 1981 at Exide Electronics in Newtown when there was a cow pasture next to the engineering building. I also used to clean the building for my dad's janitorial service when it used to be Pickering, Corts, and Sommerson ; a Civil Engineering company before Exide Electronics moved in the building. I was one of the last to go after the sale of Exide Electronics from INCO (Intl Nickel Corp) to a group of investment bankers to then NC.

Bill was the Hewlett Packard (hP) guru who loved APL programming language and who showcase his skills with it. I think that the unique APL computer keyboard is in the background. Also i remember that Bob Johnson, Bill Raddi, Bob Trox, and Bill Bennett would play 'hearts' at lunchtime, which introduced me to the concept of coffee at work !
I worked under the Mech Eng Mgr Ted Tryczynski in 1980 ~ 1981. Bill Raddi, Bob Johnson, the admin, and myself were the last (4) that closed Newtown.
