Although I did not have many occasions to be in Lucas's presence, I do remember his wide smile and bright blue eyes during an Easter dinner we shared at Susan and Jack's home a few years back. He was eager to serve me, to keep my water glass filled, and was the first to jump up and clear my plate. There was a tenderness and warmth coming from Lucas that was palpable. May you be at peace, Lucas.
