Charles A. Meyrick of Lower Makefield Township, PA died suddenly on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 58.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Charles R. and Teresa Meyrick (nee Kopervos), he had resided in Lower Makefield for the past 24 years.
Chuck was an engineer and most recently worked as a Project Manager with Saybrook Associates. Prior to Saybrook, he worked for close to 20 years as an Associate Director of Engineering with Merck & Company. He graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors in Engineering and received Masters Degrees from Drexel University and Stevens Institute.
He was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Lower Makefield. He was president of the Junior CYO for many years, served as Head of the Eucharist Minister Organization, coached soccer, softball, and basketball, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7515.
You would find Chuck enjoying working in the yard, playing a round of golf, going to the beach, and of course spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Stefanie (nee Della Vecchia), who have been married for 34 years; Loving father of two daughters Kristina and Amanda, and a new son-in-law, Jeffrey Kees. He was the patriarch of his family, with two brothers, Joseph (Sue) and Robert (Tina). Dear brother-in-law to Michael (Mary) Della Vecchia, and loving son-in-law to Clara and the late Peter Della Vecchia, along with nieces and a nephew (Joseph, Ashley, Nicholle, Michelle, Victoria, and Brianna) and many cousins.
Friends may call from 9 am to 11:30 am, Friday October 21st, at Saint John the Evangelist Church, followed by His Funeral Mass at 12pm. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
