Dear Roy, Jason and Katie, Jackson, Quentin, and Nora, Ryan and Rebecca and Ashlyn, Elyssa and Tom, Death is a horizon we all will have to cross, and a horizon is just the limit of our sight, and although Susan has crossed that horizon, she still stays at our side. Unlike the sun that sinks in the West, her warmth will not wane, her goodness goes on. Love, Susan, Fred, Lauren & John, Sara & Jonathan

Dear Roy and Family Our thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of Sue. Sue is and was one of the sweetest God has ever made and I loved her as did all who knew her! I have to tell you a funny story. A few weeks ago, believing that Sue because of her sweetnessi, might not be aware of a certain person who, lets say, I knew had not so good intentions. Sue replied to me, "Anne, I grew up in NY, I know a cockroach when I see it." I had to laugh, but I came to realize that just because she was sweet, it didn't mean she was naieve or perhaps never burned. I will never forget her words! I recruited her to be our judge of elections at North 5, and I have to say she was the best judge ever. Everyone who worked with her marveled at how organized she was, and how easy she made it for them to do their jobs. Btw it is not an easy position and she continually got re-elected! Sue was a good Catholic as well as a patriot. She sung in the folk choir, and this was the last time I saw her; she was singing at the 9:30 Mass on December 12th the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron of the unborn. St Ignatius had a rose procession in honor of all the unborn who died by abortion. Sue sung during this Mass, so I believe that Our Lady met her at the gates of heaven with a rose. As we go through life we are blessed to know few like Sue.... A true and splendid rose in the garden of life. Rest in peace with Our Lord my friend. You will always be remembered as one of the unique and very very special...beautiful inside and out! Love you! Anne
