A few more memories…
Scott got us both kicked out of chorus in 5th grade. We were in the back row (I'd imagine that Jay was dead center in the first row) and he pushed me off of the platform. I retaliated. No telling what we could have accomplished.
Scott was my Eagle game partner. He sat 80% next to me and 20% on me, a drink in each hand. He stayed to the end of each game. I hardly ever did. As different people said at his memorial, he was present. In the moment.
We also went to several golf tournaments. Whenever someone walked by wearing a hat representing an NFL team, Scott would say in a weird Scottie voice "BIRDS". Didn’t go over well at Congressional.
On the golf course Scott had the longest backswing that I have ever seen. Long and wrong. He got to see parts of the golf course others rarely see but when he really caught one he would say “that’s the way we do it downtown”. Downtown Yardley? Trenton? We like to think that he’s uptown now.

To the Remy Family,
THE TRAIN:
At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel by our side. As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, strangers and even the love of your life. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. Others will step down over time and leave a permanent vacuum. Some, however, will go so unnoticed that we don't realize they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves.
The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.
I wish you a joyful journey for the coming years on your train of life. Reap success, give lots of love and be happy. More importantly, thank God for the journey!
Lastly Scott, I want to thank you for being one of the passengers on my train,... you will be missed . Sincerely with love , rest peacefully, Lisa Schofield

My heart is with you all. Uncle Scott always lit up the room with his smile, jokes, and love of life!!
Anyone who's ever been in his presence felt loved, heard and included. I have too many memories to share but one thing I'll say is that man could make a fantastic breakfast. He made breakfast feel like Thanksgiving!!
He will be missed and remembered everyday.
