Obituary of Ruth J. Biddle

Ruth Evelyn Jackson Biddle (Mom) entered the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on February 23. Ruth was born on May 13,1928. Her parents were George and Willie Jackson. She was a long time resident of Yardley, PA. She was married to James Wharton Biddle until his death in December, 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Sara, and her daughter-in-law Jackie. She is survived by her three children Jay Wharton, Elizabeth "Libby", Eric David and grandchildren Christin Chin, Jonathan Jeffries-Biddle, Justin Biddle, and Jessica Biddle, and great grandchildren Audrey and Allistair Chin many nieces and nephews and many loving caring friends. Ruth was a graduate of Yardley High School and for 28 years worked for the Yardley Boro Sewer Authority until her retirement. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Ewing New Jersey where she served as a deaconess. She also served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday March 3 at 11 am at Central Baptist Church, 2015 Pennington Road, Ewing NJ with Pastor Richard Gay officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to the Deacons Fund of Central Baptist Church 2015 Pennington Road Ewing, NJ 08618.
