David Perlstein

David Perlstein of Yardley, PA died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 59.

Dave, born in Philadelphia and raised in Warminster, moved to Lower Makefield in 1987. Dave was a devoted and adoring husband, father, and pop-pop,an extremely passionate Philadelphia sports fan, dog lover, and was a staple in the Pennsbury Ice Hockey community, serving as both a coach and a parent. 

He married Brigitte Holzer Perlstein, the love of his life, in 1988, who survives him. Dave is also survived by daughter Melanie Perlstein of Leesport, PA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Perlstein and Emily Merrick of Levittown, PA, and Jesse Perlstein of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers,

Gary, Steven and Ronnie Perlstein; and a new grandson, Oliver Patrick Perlstein. Dave was predeceased by parents Michael Perlstein and Ann Bacci Perlstein.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday from 4pm to 7pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA,where a service will be at 6:45pm.
