I've known Lea since she was on the same school classes. They were in an inseparable friendship right till they graduated from high school. She became one of my girls as we're the rest of the girls. I loved them all like my own girls. I can't believe she's gone, we lost a beautiful ray of sunshine the other night but God gained another angel to watch all of us.

So sad. She will be missed by all. Such a young beautiful life taken from us too soon to fly with the angels. May the family find peace in this devastation. My prayers for the family she was the sweetest.

Oh my dear Lea. This cannot be true. I came to know you at Hillside. A gorgeous, well dressed, wonderfully spirited, sometimes stubborn young woman. I watched you slowly heal both your physical and emotional wounds throughout the weeks I had come to know you. I carried in my pocket for so long your "wish list" for the Wet-N-Wild lipstick colors. . . remember? . . . I found only one that I had especially made the stop to find just for you and you were so appreciative for such a small task. Your beauty and growing confidence was the envy, it seemed, of many whom you became acquainted with. I looked forward to seeing you at medication time. It became spontaneous to give you "not one but two" granola bars every visit!! : - ) You loved them. I always enjoyed your self-discovery and self-recovery conversations. You will always be a shining beacon of healing radiance in my heart, Lea. You worked so hard to meet your goals. I am having a difficult time accepting that about only one month ago you left Hillside to return to your home, your family, your so anticipated recovery life. And now I must accept your life and home in heaven. This, Lea, is a true challenge.
To the family of Lea . . . I offer to you my condolences. No words ever can be found . . . Many memories, thoughts, and prayers will continue so indefinitely. Lea shown her light each time we'd speak (sometimes dull-sometimes bright) Either way, she began to find her way. Peace to all.
