Sara Borie-Wilson

Sara Borie-Wilson of Yardley, PA died on Thursday November 18, 2021 at her home. She was 64.

Born in Jenkintown, PA, daughter of the late William Joyce Sewell Borie, Jr., and the late Jane LaFever Borie, she resided in Yardley for the past 36 years.

Sara attended Antioch College in Ohio and graduated from Temple University School of Theater Arts. She pursued her interest in the arts all through her life as an artist and as a skilled calligrapher. Sara was a member of the Philadelphia Calligraphers’ Societyand Artists of Yardley. 

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Lance B. Wilson; four sons, Zachary Wilson and his spouse, Kevin Armstrong of Philadelphia, PA, Tyler Wilson of Philadelphia, PA, Nathan Wilson of Ambler, PA, and John Wilson of Yardley, PA; three brothers, WilliamJoyce Sewell Borie, III of Highlands, NC, Kenneth Borie of Randolph, VT, John Borie of Glenside, PA, and a step-brother, Reed Borie of Austin, TX.

Calling hours will be on Thursday December 9, 2021 from 2:30pm to 5pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA.
