My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. She was a woman who lived for her family. How proud she was of the responsible adults you became, and the beautiful grandchildren you brought into her life.
Your Mom and I both grew up in Brooklyn and went to Bay Ridge High School. It is ironic but we didn't meet until we both moved to Rutherford. We supported each other in good times and bad. And there were plenty of both. How happy Bruce and I were when your parents asked Bruce to be Godfather to Christopher. A testament to our friendship.
Although she suffered with depression, I can still recall her laugh when the "girls" would get together. I am so grateful for the last time the girls had lunch together in Rutherford. Thank you, Andrew for making that possible.
Your Mom always loved animals. There was always a dog following you guys and tearing through the house. Squeals of glee and that huge English Sheepdog sliding across the coffee table, stand out in my mind.
I am glad we had such a special friendship. When you think of your Mom, remember the good times and how much she loved you. May God bless and comfort you, Connie & Bruce
