I am sad to hear of Coach Flower's passing. Mike Augustin and I recently heard about it. He was a great person, father, husband etc. He will be sadly missed. Mike and I were one of the first teams matt coached with Mr. Jackman. RIP Coach and Mike and I's condolences to Barb and family. Eddie Harris

To the Flowers Family: Matt was one of the finest men I have ever met, kind and gentle. I always enjoyed our conversations at RJ's that revolved around PHS basketball and family, you could tell from our talks that he loved and was proud of his family. CYO basketball players that played for Matt are better off because he was their coach. Matt always had a kind word to say about everyone. He will be missed by all that he touched, he certainly touched my heart and life, and I am better person because of that. Rick Baxter

So sad to hear of Coach flowers passing! He was not only my Basketball coach but my neighbor but a good person. I remember when I was a young teen he had gotten me a job at his company he worked at in tullytown. Rest in peace coach!
