Obituary of Carl H. Foltz

Carl Henry Foltz, Jr, 91, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on May 16, 2022. Carl was born in High Point, North Carolina, was raised in York, Pennsylvania and lived in Yardley for over 25 years before retiring to Sarasota, Florida. Carl began his college education at Bucknell University, but after serving in the Navy in the Korean War, transferred to University of Rhode Island, where he met his future wife. Carl began his career in sales and marketing with Norton, but later became an Account Manager for Maritz Motivation Inc., where he supported clients throughout the Northeast. He was an avid golfer at Trenton Country Club and enjoyed creating his summer garden. Most importantly, he loved his family and was a loyal friend and caring father, grandfather, and husband. Carl is pre-deceased by his wife, Jean (Trainor) Foltz (2000) and his son, Craig (1984). He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Susan and Kyle Havill (Orlando, Florida) and Betsy and Ken Gross (Scottsdale, Arizona), as well as three grandchildren, Michael Stevens (Orlando), Lauren Stevens (Orlando), and Allison Gross Bryan (San Francisco). A private internment for the family will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Yardley on May 25th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Trenton, New Jersey.
