Obituary of Carolyn Ford

Carolyn Ford, 85, of Pittstown, NJ passed away in her home on Wednesday November 23, 2022, after suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Born in Gibbstown, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Myrtle Colton Percival.

Carolyn and her husband, Frank resided in Jensen Beach, FL for 22 years. They returned to the area as Langhorne, PA residents and more recently relocated to Pittstown, NJ. Carolyn and Frank were married for 68 years and raised five children. She treasured her role as a homemaker and all around mother. No task was too big or too small for Carolyn as long as it involved family. She was a long standing member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO).

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 68 years, Frank W. Ford; three sons, Michael, Ronald, and Craig Ford; two daughters, Cindy Ford-McFarland, and Tery Ford-Miller; her brother, Bill Percival; her sister, Edith Messenger; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation services will be on Saturday December 3rd, 2022 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home located at 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA

A reception will follow at the Washington Crossing Inn in Washington Crossing, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Kellan Ford Foundation. Kellan was Carolyn’s great grandson, who died in 2021 of brain cancer at the age of 5. www.kellanford.com
