Janet and I met in college and have been friends ever since. One of the funniest memories of Janet was when the twins were born. She called from the hospital to tell me the news. I said stop lying you are still at home. In typical response she said "I would not lie about this". My prayers you David and they whole family. Betti Rottschaefer

To Dave Sr., David, Susan, and Michael - our deepest sympathy to all of you. Janet was my best friend in Pittsburgh for more years than I can count. We met through Women's Club and became close friends immediately. We shared so many wonderful memories of raising children, playing countless bridge games, and being together socially with our husbands, who then became good friends. Janet had a wonderful sense of humor and would do anything that anyone would ask of her. Bill and I will miss her and cherish our memories of her for years to come.

Janet was my roommate at Carlow College. We met as sophomores and became best friends. I miss her terribly. When we were out on the town, Janet refused to wear her glasses and, she would tell me to remove mine if a cute guy came into view. She came to visit me when I worked at the Jersey shore. Our place was the party house, of great interest to the police. We ran out the back on one occasion & I made her hide in the bushes. Then after she & Dave were married, Dave had a business trip to NYCso my fiancé & I took him to the Playboy Club. You can imagine Janet's response to that. Through the years, were were always in touch & our husbands became fast friends as well. It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to wonderful friend. Cathi Bufenbendert

Cathy, thanks for the memories of my Mom. She was quite the character. I know you two had lots of fun times and great memories. You were always a good friend to her and our family.
