Beatrice "Chickie" Brown, 86, passed peacefully on March 11, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1935, Bea is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years (Frederick). Her brothers William Jr, Robert and Walter and her sisters Lillian and Dorothy.
She is survived by her three sons, Frederick (Midlothian, VA), Michael (Yardley, PA), and Joseph (Nashua, NH). She leaves three wonderful daughters-in-law: Kati, Elizabeth and Rebecca respectively, five grandchildren (Pamela, Elizabeth, Lydia, Matthew and Aletta), four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews whom she loved as well.
Bea was a consummate artist. Her passion and skill for art were evident throughout her life. She utilized her artistic talent during her working career and later in her quilt making endeavors. Bea was proud of her many award-winning quilts. During her more active years, Bea enjoyed bowling and traveling to her favorite tournaments.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Ave. Yardley, PA 19067.
