Obituary of Mary S. Kelton

Mary S. Kelton, 104, of Yardley, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023. Born in Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Kelton resided in Kentucky until 1968, having lived in such towns as Lexington and Hopkinsville. She taught grade school and later became a high school guidance counselor before earning her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky at the age of 45. After which, she moved to Yardley, and married David Hudson. After his passing, she married Stan Kelton and remained in the same house in Yardley until her passing. Daughter of the late Charles W. and Irene (Peebles) Saunders, wife of the late Bob Nash, David Hudson, and Stan Kelton, mother of the late Cornelius "Neil" Nash, sister of the late Charlie Saunders and Jim Saunders, and mother-in-law of the late Lois Nash. She is survived by her three sons, Jim Nash and his wife Robbie of Beavercreek, OH, Winston Nash of Yardley, and Richard Nash and his wife Joreen of Louisville, KY, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
