My heart was broken when heard of Sue's passing. When I moved to Yardley, I didn't know anyone. As you can imagine, I was feeling lonely and a bit lost getting on the school bus that morning. Sue got on the bus the next stop. She boarded with a smile and immediately locked eyes with me. She took the seat across the aisle from me and asked if I was new. She talked non-stop the entire ride. She was warm, engaging and FUNNY. I remember her laugh to this day. Infectious. I couldn't have been more grateful and relieved. We remained close all through high school. She introduced to me her friends, but it was her best friend, Mimi Lombardo, that sealed the deal. I remember the soccer, her undying love of hockey and the Flyers. She was so well liked by everyone. She was one of rare few that navigated every group. I can still picture her smile with her silly wave coming down the crowded hallways. I miss her and I'm beyond grateful for the time I got to have her in my life. It was a gift when I needed it the most. I'm so, so sorry for the family's loss. Sending them my deepest condolences.
