I'm one of Merry's oldest friends from her years in Hightstown. Of all her many special friends, I may know her the longest after Jan. Merry & Dewey's wedding reception held at Nancy Lyon's home. Life took us on different pathways. We reconnected at a War Memorial performance and from that time forward she shared her friends w/me. Insisting we join them at the Yardley Inn afterward! The baby shower held long distance at Pat & Bill's for Sharon! The Parkers let me sleep at their home following Merry's birthday celebration at the Washington Crossing Inn so I wouldn't have to drive home alone late in the evening. Merry, I know that's a run on sentence! Jane and Merry & I golfed in DE. PA. and NJ; weekend visits to their PA cabin and golf w/Merry & Dewey, and friends. Montgomery movies, lunches and dinners. Breakfast at the Higham's before a trip to Celtic celebration in Philly. Happy memories and get togethers. Recently when they no longer drove, Friday canasta. I was blessed to have such a kind and thoughtful friend! Penny Stout
