Obituary of John C. Yeager

John C. Yeager John C. Yeager, 74, of Yardley, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Born February 14, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Charles and Cecilia Jones Yeager, he was a lifelong Bucks County resident. After Neshaminy High School, John joined the US Marine Corps and served honorably with pride and distinction during his term of enlistment. He owned and operated auto detailing businesses including The Car Doctor in Levittown, PA. During retirement, he worked as a Security Guard at several locations. "Big John", as he was known to many, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a skilled outdoorsman and avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, E. Sharlene Poe Yeager; twin daughters, Crystal Wells and Sherri Wells; a grandson, Stefan Wells and his husband, Brian Powe-Wells; his sisters in-law, Betty Poe Krauss and Ina Poe; Aunt Isabelle Eberhart and Aunt Annette Jones; his beloved dog, Bentley, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue, Yardley, PA. His interment will be on Monday January 29, 2024 at 1:30pm at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.
