My Dearest Mary,
You touched my heart more than you will ever know. I was so blessed to come into your life and privileged to have taken care of you. You never asked for anything, well maybe a piece of cake or a piece of candy :) You were so easy to take care of and so easy to Love. I will forever be grateful to have been part of your care team, along with Joanne, Frank, Elaine and John. We had many laughs and many talks which I will miss so much. Your smile just warmed the heart of all. I will never forget your last moments and how peaceful you were and how much you were loved.

You were such a beautiful person both inside and out. A wonderful example of a true Christian women who cared far more for others than for herself. I lost my parents far too early and was honored to be there to help you in your time of need. Just like you did for everyone else, you did far more for me than I could have ever done for you!

I could never have in a million years asked for a better mother to be chosen for me. You are my inspiration and role model forever. You gave everything you had to your family and were a model of faith throughout your life. This last year you handled all your struggles with grace and dignity. On your most challenging days you gave me strength. There wasn’t anything you wouldn’t have done for me in this life, and there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t have done for you Mom. You truly are one of my soulmates and truest friends. As sad as I am for myself, I’m so incredibly happy you reached eternity. You lived your life for God and now you are enjoying heaven. We’ve lived beside Mary (and many years with Cliff) for 21 years. They were a lovely couple and a role model for how to grow old gracefully. They welcomed our visits and loved our children. Each Christmas, Mary would give each of our children an ornament with their name on it. We will miss Mary but we’re happy she and Cliff are reunited.

I was fortunate to have my Grandmom in my life for nearly 49 years. May she rest in peace. I am so glad that both my kids got to know their Great Grandmom and will always remember her. We love her and will miss her.
