Obituary of Brigitte K. Martin

Brigitte K. Martin of Fairless Hills, PA died on Monday June 19, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. She was 90. Born in Germany, daughter of the late Willie and Erna Rachowe Lesser, she emigrated to the United States in 1954, and was a Bucks County resident for the past 56 years. Brigitte was a professional dancer of stage and film and preformed under the stage name of Ramona Deole. In her later years she was a dance instructor. She was a long time member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. She was active in To Live Again, and enjoyed the fellowship of Rider University organizations and her Dance Club. Wife of the late Robert A. Martin, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul D. and Joyce Martin of Beach Bluff, TN, Bruce T. and Martha Martin of Lebanon, OR, and Rolf Michael and Sabrina Martin of Wellsburg, NY, and two grandchildren, Brian Martin and his wife Stacey, and Karisa H. Strickland. Brigitte will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband, US Navy Commander Robert A. Martin on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 2pm. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Wednesday July 19, 2017 at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1700 Makefield Road, Yardley, PA.
