Obituary of Pamela T. Fries

Pamela T. Fries, 57, of East Windsor, NJ died suddenly on Thursday July 13, 2017 at her home. Born in Plainfield, NJ, formerly of Piscataway, NJ, she resided in East Windsor for the past 23 years. Pam was retired from Conair/Cuisinart Corporation, where she was an accounts payable manager. She was graduated from Piscataway High School and Rutgers University, where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda and the Golden Key Honor Society. She is survived by her husband, Richard R. Herbst; her mother, Rev. Lynn Ash; a brother, Thomas Fries, and a sister, Eileen Williams. She was the daughter of the late John Fries. Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30am until her funeral service at 11am on Tuesday July 18 at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Yardley. Pam was a lover of animals and nature, and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pamela's name to the local ASPCA, the Arbor Day Foundation 211 North 12th Street, Lincoln, NE 68540 and the National Park Foundation 1202 Eye Street, N.W. suite 550B, Washington, DC 20005.
