I am so sorry to her of your mom's passing. We met your parents many years ago at Brookside Swim Club. We live on Vernon Road and I would walk our dog past their house often. Most people sit in the same seats at mass every week, and we sat near your parents, and then near your mom after your dad passed. We enjoyed talking with your mom, and she was always so kind to my daughter, (who is now 30 years old) when she was growing up. I missed seeing her at church the last few years. I hope the fond memories you have of Florence will make you smile. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Anne Gladwell

I do not make a habit of reading obituaries but divine intervention had me open the Courier yesterday. I was saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady and a mentor to me in my early years as a Dental Hygienist. I worked with Florence at Drs Hewson and Ollio for many years. She took me several times to NYC for the Dental Convention there. We had a great time together. She also took me skiing many times. Florence would pick me up with a thermos of coffee and homemade baked goodies she had taken from her freezer. Most times I would drive her car home. As I'm sure you know, she was a very generous and thoughtful person. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Warm regards, Keyna Crawford

I met Flossie from being friends with her daughter, Sue. Even though I only knew her for a short period time, she was a blessing in my life. She was always kind, caring and had a great sense of humor. She even gave me great advice! I loved her openness toward life and all that she did for others. She will be missed.

I only knew Flossie since she moved to Juniper Village of Bucks in August 2022 but oh what a lady. She was so kind and engaging. She was trying, very hard, to teach myself and 2 others Mah Jongg and I will treasure our time together and the fact that I even won one game, although I think she let me. Flossie was only here a short time but she will be greatly missed.

To the family odf dear Flossie Our deepest simpathy to you all We were lucky to have met her and John and were the most wonderful people . When my Dad had a show in Soho,NY they came in on the train with Mom and Dad to share a special moment with us and we never forgot it We were honouured to have known them. Brian and Gabriela Gaudet
