A best friend is one of the few people in life who chooses to love you despite your flaws. The bond is stronger than blood because there is no obligation. I am so lucky to have found someone with such a wonderful soul, kind heart, and witty sense of humor to have by my side. No one can fill your shoes, sweet friend. Dear Marcy, When we spoke last you told me you were not afraid of dying and that you were ready whenever it happened. You may have been ready but I was so very not. It’s hard for Ellen and I to imagine you’re gone. When I close my eyes, so many memories of you flash through my brain like film clips on steroids. Memories of birthdays, holidays and just ordinary days spent together. You introduced me to your friend and coworker Ellen and we have been married for over 52 years now, you match maker you. You’ve been so much more than a cousin to me, more like a sister, a good friend and confidant and sometimes a therapist even when I did not ask for advice. I just wish you had learned to express your true feelings. I will miss our phone conversations and emails with pictures and updates on Tom, Jess and your beloved Lily and Finn. You treasured the time spent with them and I know they will have so many fond memories of you. I will miss our phone conversations about our latest aches and pains, doctor’s visits and prescription drugs. The bottom line Marcy is that I was so blessed to have had you as my cousin and I will miss you so very much. Love always, Jimmy

Marcy will be sorely missed, a sad dau wotj jer [assomg. She was always a friendly and cheerful presence when we worked together at Rohm & Haas' Bristol Engineering Divison. We kept in touch over many years via our Christmas greetings. She had a continuous interest in our twin daughters whey they were born 1986. Over the years We exchanged news about our twins and she send photos told me about her twin grandchildren born 2013. Rest in peace, Marcy. John W. Chin 11/3/23

I am so sorry to hear about Marcy’s sudden passing. I have the fondest memories of Marcy from my childhood. I loved spending time with her, and her humor, authenticity, and ability to keep it real was always an inspiration to me. I will never forget the time we went to the beach in Wildwood Crest, and she sat in her chair, which suddenly broke, causing her to fall to the ground. She was completely stuck and could not get up. We laughed so hard that day, and it's a memory I'll always treasure. Heaven has gained an angel who will continue to bring laughter and light to those above. Her memory will forever warm my heart. My deepest condolences are with her closest family and friends during this difficult time. Love, Allison

While I didn’t often see Marcy, she was always kind and genuine. What I will always cherish and remember is when we adopted our daughter, she wrote us the most beautiful letter about her own experience and her family. I met Marcy in 2018, I was caring for her neighbors the Hartmans. I was sitting on the deck one rainy day and notice a woman getting out of her car with a walker. I ran inside grabbed my umbrella and out the door to assist the woman. Marcy was surprised and forever grateful that I came out to assist her. She asked me what is your name and I said Eva, later that day she called Ms. Hartman and told her I came out to help with the umbrella to prevent her from getting wet. From that day Marcy never called me Eva, my name became girlfriend. Girlfriend, you will be truly missed. Love Eva
